Being brought up from a typical Roman Catholic family, I always thought the serpent was the symbol of the devil. Obliviously, I’ve been misinformed. I figure that the symbol of the Caduceus is really base on the symbol of the serpent that spirals and intertwines like our DNA. Is the Kundalini Serpent, from Hinduism, also base on this?
Same here Damian. Of course the control system and reLIEgion in particular twists everything. Of course, the serpent symbolism, which represents the thread of life would be represented as something evil. I believe that yes, the Hindu symbolism also represents the same thing. All over the ancient world, symbolism of the spiraling serpents and the pine cone (which represents the pineal gland)can be found stretching back to antiquity. I’m going to revamp an earlier article I wrote on the topic and post it in the articles section soon. I’ts very interesting information and I find it amazing that modern science didn’t discover until 1953, what the ancients knew all along. Thanks for listening and commenting! All the best Damian!
