Don’t Question, Just Obey
Share On:
When did “consent of the governed” become “shut up and obey?” When natural rights are infringed upon, or willingly relinquished, societies collapse, and when people as a whole operate with apathetic indifference and historical amnesia, civilizations fall in this repeating cycle.

Hi Doug
Another well spoken Diatribe. Who do you think is the infamous author of this quote?
“In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, sense they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.”
Eyes wide no fear,
Cal
Thank you Cal! I’m not sure who said that.
Make the lie big.
Make it simple.
Keep saying it,
and eventually people will believe it.
Adolf Hitler from his 1925 book “Mein Kampf”
Ahh, of course! Didn’t he also say something like: “the bigger the lie, the more people will believe it?” Thanks Cal!
Outstanding as always. I truly enjoyed this one. We all need to hear this kind of information regularly. For our own security, and reinforcement. We are not alone…
Thank you!
“THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.
Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.” – Thomas Paine
